I used HEALTHeACCESS in Hobart for the first time in October. I was thoroughly surprised. I spent less than 5 minutes in the lobby before being called into a patient room. Billie was my provider during this visit. She was extremely detailed and patient. The staff were helpful as well. If there is a need for another medical visit, I will return to HEALTHeACCESS! TradeWinds, this is a wonderful benefit for employees!

I’ve had the opportunity to visit the HEALTHeACCESS Clinic (Munster location) twice and I was truly impressed and blessed. For both visits, my doctor was Mary D Fugett. I scheduled appointments and was seen within 5-15 minutes of my scheduled time.
The front desk receptionist/nurse and Dr. Fugett were very friendly. Dr. Fugett spent more time with me in the patient room than my regular doctor has (and I like my regular doctor).
The free medications and savings were awesome. For my second visit, I normally would have gone to Urgent Care and paid a $50 – $75 copay. But with HEALTHeACCESS, everything was free.

Doing yoga with Desiree is the highlight of my week. She is always upbeat and inviting. Desiree adjusts routines to accommodate everyone in class. It is both relaxing and challenging. I always feel lifted when I leave. Keep up the good work. It is greatly appreciated.

I began taking advantage of the HEA yoga program a few years ago, and it was the best decision I made for my health. From there, it opened doors to all of the amazing programs available through HEA, including lifestyle intervention courses/functional medicine, Mommy and Me Yoga, cooking classes, and more. I was able to observe my progress based on how I felt and through test results with improved levels across the board. Desiree Brummett, who I think of as my wellness guru, is a truly amazing instructor and a wealth of knowledge. My kids loved going to yoga for Mommy and Me classes. I’ve also been grateful for the option of virtual classes, including yoga on days I couldn’t be there in person. I’m mindful about my choices in all aspects of health and lucky to have had the opportunity to learn how to take care of myself inside and out. Many of the lifestyle changes that I learned about and implemented with support had real, and significant impact on my health and well-being. I am grateful to live in a community with opportunities like these.

The services provided by Franciscan Health that I have participated in include the Yoga and Nutritional Therapy programs with Desiree Brummett. To start, Desiree is the epitome of what any company or organization would want to represent them. Desiree is knowledgeable, professional, and such a joy to work with on a weekly basis. She inspires change, healthfulness, and to be your best self through her yoga practice and Nutritional Therapy Program. The yoga program is such a wonderful asset that has significantly increased by health through stress management, strength, flexibility, and lung capacity. I have never felt better with my body’s capability from the strength and flexibility improvements that I have gained from the yoga movement patterns. The Nutritional Therapy program taught myself and my husband a tremendous amount about our necessary nutritional improvements. As Americans, we truly do not eat enough vegetables. The Nutritional Therapy Program focuses on wellness through diet, specifically, increasing vegetable intake. We have noticed a significant improvement in our blood work as well as our immune response due to the lessons we learned through this program. I cannot recommend the programs and Desiree enough to those who are looking to improve their overall health!
